North Dallas Charmer
Inviting Front Room
White cabinetry against a moody blue wall showcases a vintage toy collection and heirloom artwork. The needlepoint rug adds pattern and texture.
Twin sofas flank fireplace
This inviting room is anchored by a pair of linen sofas with nickle trim. A closed cabinet was opened up to create flanking bookshelves. Painting the wood trim around the fireplace in a deep graphite gives the room a focal point and balances the television.
Symmetry in leather
Balancing the twin sofas with a pair of matched comfy leather chairs gives ample seating to the family room, but keeps it cozy. Carrying the graphite trim across to the stairwell unites the woodwork.
Stairwell detail
Closeup look at the graphite trim with white spindles giving a dramatic outline to the staircase and creating a more meaningful architectural feature.
Built in bar
The carrara marble backsplash extends the pleasing palette from the kitchen. Fully functional with ample storage and ice maker, this space is a natural extension of the family area.
Detail on bar interior
Dark sink hardware and complementary drawer pulls work with the graphite woodwork to enhance the marble tile work.
Workspace Plus
This kitchen took three full slabs of granite to accommodate the abundant counter space.
Beautiful and functional
The built in hutch has a playful mix of function and fun. Vintage details mix with the modern finish out.
Modern Diner
The pop of red over the range window is one of several vintage red elements that gives this kitchen its charming personality.
Counter seating
Simple A-line red bar stools line up at the counter to enhance the welcome nature. A fun pop of color against the calming blue, they maintain the welcoming vibe of the home.
Window on the garden
The sheer window covering (west facing windows) allows for natural light in this bright space. The center island is the perfect center for prep and entertaining.
White on White
Carrara marble brick makes up the backsplash above the distinct white granite. Paired with the subtle "Quiet Moments" on the wall, the space is light, modern and welcoming.
Inviting Hallway
The hallway features a hand carved element recovered Thai temple. The one of a kind element adds texture without losing any space in the entryway.
Double doors lead into study
A pair of elegant antiques flank this doorway in the family study. The glass doors look through the entry way into the dining room. Pops of red and plum unite the two rooms.
Study Retreat
The colorful textile details enhance the home study. The moody blue acts as a neutral backdrop for the beautiful woodwork.
Dining delight
A vintage Italian hand crafted chandelier unites the clasic mahogany finished dining room. The playful fabrics and hand colored artwork are rich with detail and texture.
Cheerful guest bedroom
Topped off with a handmade quilt, this bedroom is anchored with a carved rice bed.
Updated Jack & Jill
Whimsical wallpaper updates this Jack and Jill bathroom. There is a sink leg that looks on each guest bedroom.
Updated Jack & Jill
The shower was retiled when the wallpaper was updated. A new countertop and sink was added at the same time. Who wouldn't want to spend a weekend in this bathroom?
Half bath update
Cheerful Thibaut wallpaper offers an engaging backdrop for the upstairs half bath. New floor and countertop completed the makeover.
Guest bedroom
Sage green walls highlight the second bedroom off of the Jack & Jill bathroom. The antique table and whimsical print matted in printed linen offer the balance of elegance and playfulness found throughout the home.
