Downtown Bank
Iconic Downtown bank
When a historic bank was ready for a facelift and a new logo unveiling, we worked with them to develop a fresh image to accompany their new logo and new programs.
Open teller stations
This was such a fun project. We designed the space to be much more open than the previous structure. We wanted the tellers to be able to have private transactions but feel accessible. To get out of the linear lineup, the stations are staggered and anchored with a floating ceiling cloud of walnut stained wood trimmed in stainless steel edging. Each of the dividing wood pillars has a channel of steel embedded in it. Slate was laid on the floor in a composite of colors while natural stone skins the fronts of the teller stations.
Cookies & Coffee
Part of the marketing effort in this project was to drive in walk in traffic with a more friendly and open experience once in the bank. We built a coffee bar - popular with customers and the neighbors as well as put in a convection over for their signature chocolate chip cookies.
Coffee Station
This stacked wood coffee bar is a favorite spot with customers and employees alike. Anchored with twin pendant lights, the bar can be hosted or set up as self service.
Bank at work
An elevated view of the space shows how pattern and texture create warmth and friendliness within the workspace.
Lobby Before and After
This before and after look at the project shows where we began with more confined spaces and a an outdated palette.
Waiting Area Before and After
Another before and after showing where the project began. Some water damage had claimed the ceiling tiles and other elements of the property. We replaced all of the flooring with slate and then replaced the acoustic tile ceiling. Painting the entire space a sage dollar bill green, we united the two floors and reopened a closed off second floor. Overall the space was opened up to flow seamlessly, but still offer private space.
Conference Room
The conference room was totally overhauled. A custom granite slab sits on a base of walnut designed specifically for the space. twin credenzas anchor the back of the space. Abstract artwork lines the walls.
Drive through
The community where the bank is located has a monthly "Artwalk" The bank invited art students from the local university to develop creative ideas for the drive through. This was the winning entry.
Grand stairway
The stairway was closed off and not in use when we entered the project. We reimagined the space and it is now a central element of connection for customers and employees both. Textured metal medallions float on the landing space.
Reception area
Second floor space allowed for a waiting area and receiving desk to be set up. The deep walnut trim and sagey green paint unite both floors.
Waiting area second floor
Reopening the second floor allowed us to create an inviting and comfortable waiting room.
Bullpen
The reopening of the second floor space allowed for additional work stations and added flexibility to grow.
Upstairs landing
Bright abstract artwork hangs throughout the space.
Executive Office
Bank executives moved into new offices complete with custom builts ins.
Customized built in cabinet
The customized built in house a refrigerator, a media station and lockable file drawers behind the cabinet doors.
Executive office
The convex book case balances the customized cabinetry and solid desks within the office. Bright artwork enhances the walls.
Art Show In House
These custom benches were designed and built to extend the feeling of the coffee bar throughout the bank lobby. The bank offers a monthly art show in conjunction with a community artwalk. We installed a cabled art hanging system that allows for flexibility and easy installation and a streamlined presentation.
