Contemporary Craftsman Family Home
This five bedroom, six and a half bathroom home offers an open concept seamless flow between rooms.
Floating Stairwell
The large staircase uses a cable rail instead of a traditonal railing to inimize the visual impact and maintain the open line of sight throughout the home and outdoors.
Dramatic Entrance
The oversized front doors give an artistic touch to the entrance of the home. The
Mile High Great Room
The steel trusses give the home an industrial modern twist. These trusses support the roof, but they're visually stimulating as well.
Dramatic Dining Room
The open concept starts as you enter. From the foyer the dining room, a seamless flow between spaces.
Natural materials in a modern kitchen.
Natural elements extend through the house, including the stone from the exterior of the home. The countertop on the bar is a laminated piece of metal set in between sheets of glass. The kitchen includes bar seating, a raised breakfast table and a cable rail system for the lighting which extends the openess of the kitchen.
Inviting exterior
The heated saltwater pool includes a large hot tub and fountins that cascade into the pool. A real resort feeling.
Cozy nook
We put a lot of focus on the detail of the daily use spaces, such as this sitting room off of the breakfast nook. We designed a custom piece of millwork to use as shelving to disguise the staircase that goes down to the basement. The unit adds a sense of warmth and enclosure to the room.

Front Door Entry from Dining
Oversized front doors with a nod to Craftsmen design and add an artistic touch. The design is repeated throughout the home to create a seamless feel between interior and exterior.
Natural Stone Shaved SInk
The granite was panned out on this slab to create a sink bowl in the guest bathroom. A real conversation piece.
Powder room with textured pattern wallpaper.
The furniture style sink is enhanced with colorful decor bottles. Pops of orange are found throughout the home.
Barn doors create dramatic dividers
This wet bar serves as an entertaining space with storage and a beverage fridge. The backsplash was a piece of steel that had been left out of doors to rust and then clear coated.
Versatile Bar Space
The barn doors are used throughout the house . They allow spaces to be divided for family time or parties or opened up for flow.
Built in storage with a high top table
We created this cantilevered dining table to accommodate an active family with counter height bar stools. The base has storage drawers for placemats and flatware built into it.
Mixed materials
True craftsmanship is evident everywhere. The kitchen uses a variety of mixed materials in interesting way.
Pool Bath
This bathroom located off of the home's main hallway is attached to the screened porch and features cubbies and a bench, allowing for easy access to guests using the pool.
Coffee nook in the master bathroom.
This master bathroom had a coffee station and small fridge added in between the master bedroom and closet. The goal for this surgeon was a quick and quiet exit in the morning.
Beam up close
The wooden panels in the ceiling are a light maple with a silver bridge between boards created a craftsmen meets contemporary vibe.
Built in bookcase/ Room divider
A run of barn doors string along the primary hallway hiding the pantry and a pair of study offices.
Inviting inside and out
Fountains add drama
The fountains flow into a catch basin which then runs into the surface of the pool.
Front entryway
The oversized front doors give the exterior an artistic touch. Various features of the entry are duplicated inside the home to create a seamless feel between the interior and exterior.
Natural saltwater pool
The pool area also has a fire pit and outdoor kitchen. The landscaping softens the look of the concrete pool deck and creates more of a resort feel.
