So we created a place where you can explore your dreams and, together, we can find solutions for any project you have. We are an established design studio spanning a dozen years and several states.
We believe you should love where you live and will help you find important details to personalize your environment. Your home should also be appropriate for how your family lives. Lisa Choate
Owner, Principal Designer
Lisa is a multi-faceted, award winning interior designer for both residential and commercial projects. Skilled in translating a client’s vision into physical reality, she works to create unique interiors that reflect her client’s personality and lifestyle. Her passion for the balance of aesthetic and function helps her create spaces that people truly enjoy. She brings considerable experience to each project with more than 20 years in the design industry and home decor community. Lisa believes interior spaces are an integral part of achieving harmony and balance in our lives and helps each client create their perfect environment.
Raised in Texas, Lisa fell in love with color, hand crafted objects and the world of home furnishings at an early age. “A serial magazine consumer, I was creating files of tear-sheets and inspirations about the time I was learning to read. Without understanding it – I would document and keep things that moved me or that I found beautiful.” There were only two aspects of Barbie’s world that mattered: her dream house and her menagerie of pets.
The intersection where art and design meet real life has always been her sweet spot, so it was natural that she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design and Fine Art from Baylor University. She and has been fortunate to be able to work in the everchanging industry of home fashion ever since.
Lisa has designed and developed product for industry tastemakers including: Neiman Marcus, Ballard Designs, Crate & Barrel, among others. These products were always created keeping in mind the integrity and purpose of the interiors they would adorn. She loves mixing the modern, classic or boho chic elements to reflect the personality of each specific client.
Considering the importance of art in our home and community Lisa agrees with Susan Snell, who said, “Art is what connects us to our soul” For Lisa that explained the emotional pull art plays in our daily lives – and how it can render impact in big and small ways. A world-wide traveler, she currently lives in Dallas with her Goldendoodles, Murphy and Homer. She is passionate about the Chicago Cubs, the Dallas Cowboys, excellent BBQ and Bruce Springsteen. In her spare time, she is usually in her studio or kitchen making something.
